The Kuomintang caucus in the Legislative Yuan plans to include amendments to the 'Election and Recall Law' in the Internal Administration Committee next week, raising concerns from former member Huang Jie, who criticized the Kuomintang for being too hasty and afraid, immediately targeting the 'Election and Recall Law.' Huang Jie suggested that the Kuomintang should stop pushing boundaries and not challenge the public's patience, as otherwise the Kuomintang in 2026 would surely face the consequences. The amendment proposes raising the recall threshold to 'votes in favor exceeding the votes the official received when elected.'
