During the review of the amendment draft of the 'Recall Law' in the Legislative Yuan on July 8, a physical conflict broke out between blue and green camp legislators again. Kuomintang legislator Wang Hongwei accused Democratic Progressive Party legislator Huang Jie of hiring a locksmith to open the door early in the morning, with Kuomintang legislator Hong Meng-Kai claiming that the surveillance footage has captured Huang Jie damaging the door lock. The Nationalist Party's Xu Qiaoxin also insulted by calling Huang Jie a 'Huang Thief'. The Kuomintang plans to release the video after official approval.
