On June 19, 2024, during the Legislative Yuan's review of the Executive Yuan's motion for reconsideration of parliamentary reform amendments, legislator Huang Kuo-chang accused the Executive Yuan of being a center for spreading false information. When Premier Tsai Ing-wen was explaining, Huang accused him of 'interrupting.' Speaker Han Kuo-yu emphasized mutual respect and urged officials not to interrupt. The Legislative Yuan will vote on the motion on June 21 after a two-day committee review, which also featured Minister of Justice Cheng Ming-kuen. Amidst the questioning, Huang and others had exchanges, prompting Speaker Han to intervene for order. Various legal and procedural matters were discussed, including the issue of officials allegedly making false statements in the legislature.
