During the Legislative Yuan's Procedure Committee meeting, People First Party legislator Lin Guo-cheng proposed to temporarily postpone the amendment to the law on legislators visiting China and received support from the Kuomintang caucus. The Democratic Progressive Party's proposal on amending the law was once again blocked by the blue and white camps. Additionally, the National Communications Commission (NCC) personnel case was not put on the agenda. The nomination of the current NCC Vice Chairman Weng Po-tsung as Chairman, along with three others, was rejected in the committee as well, causing dissatisfaction among opposition party caucuses.
