During parliamentary questioning on June 20, 2024, Li Yanshow raised concerns that after the National Assembly's powers revision, the next bill the Executive Yuan plans to review is the 'Indigenous Land Reserve Logging Compensation Act.' This move could potentially escalate tensions between the government and the legislature. The bill, which recently passed its third reading, increases logging compensation from NT$30,000 to NT$60,000 per hectare starting next year. Despite this, President Zhang Rongthai avoided directly addressing the issue during questioning, prompting criticism from Li Yanshow about violating the constitutional separation of powers.
