Square-Enix and Deck Nine Games have announced a direct sequel to the original game, called Life is Strange: Double Exposure, set to be released this October. The trailer reveals a returning character, Max Caulfield, with new powers, unfolding a storyline where she must navigate parallel timelines to prevent a murder. The game, available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 29, 2024, will offer three editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate, with pre-orders for the Ultimate Edition granting early access to Chapters 1 and 2 on Oct. 15, 2024. More details will be revealed during a livestream on July 13. Nintendo Switch version to follow.
