Chinese Premier Li Keqiang ended his 4-day visit to Australia on June 18th, meeting with political and business figures and stating a 'comprehensive turnaround' in China-Australia relations. However, experts believe that fundamental disagreements, such as China's opposition to the AUKUS alliance and issues like the imprisonment of Australian citizen Yang Hengjun in China, will not change due to Li's visit. While the visit helped strengthen government relations, disagreements in areas like national security and military continue to exist, with Yang's case and other sensitive topics still causing tension between the two countries.
