On June 15, 2024, Golden Horse legendary actress Lin Qingxia attended the graduation ceremony at Tsing Hua University in Hsinchu as a speaker, sparking a frenzy of goddess aura in the crowd. The last time Lin appeared publicly was at the 60th Golden Horse Awards last year, making it 8 months since her last appearance. Lin encouraged the graduates with her life experiences, stating that setbacks are turning points in life. During her speech, she momentarily forgot her lines and jokingly shouted, 'I need to check (the script)!' which amused the audience and became a highlight of the ceremony. Despite being an international superstar who has been out of the entertainment industry for many years, the students showed more calmness than expected upon seeing her, while their parents were more excited.
