Speaking at a press conference titled 'Going to the countryside to speak out: Against abuse of power, protecting democracy,' DPP Secretary-General Lin Youchang responded to accusations made by KMT legislator Xu Qiaoxin on June 12th. Xu Qiaoxin claimed that the DPP had discussed a report on mobile phone signal data at a party government supervisory meeting, sparking surveillance suspicions. Lin questioned whether Xu Qiaoxin was monitoring the DPP's central headquarters, emphasizing that the DPP holds many meetings daily, contrary to Xu's claims.
