In the ongoing legal battle related to the collapse of the Lincoln County building that occurred 27 years ago due to Typhoon Winnie, the Supreme Court ruled that the developer must compensate 12 out of 18 remaining residents with a total amount of 12.96 million for the loss of property value. The court criticized the developer for negligence in following proper procedures during construction, leading to the collapse and subsequent devaluation of the properties. The case can still be appealed.
