Lingus Lin Advocates Watching Movies as Taipei Film Festival Ambassador, Remains Silent on Wang Bojie's Drunk Driving Incident

Reported about 1 year ago

At an event on June 21, actor Lingus Lin advocated for watching movies as the Taipei Film Festival ambassador, expressing his happiness at the role and stating his love for films. He did not delve into recent controversies at the festival and remained mum on co-star Wang Bojie's drunk driving incident, where Wang was arrested for public endangerment. The festival canceled Wang's role as an award presenter and removed his related materials. Despite working together on a new film '96 Minutes,' Lin did not reach out to Wang, suggesting he should rest. Lin also refrained from commenting on the situation of actress Hsieh Hsin-ying facing possible legal consequences for lending her car to her boyfriend. Instead, Lin focused on promoting their upcoming movie 'Nightmares of Love' and discussed his habits of consuming low-sugar beverages at a bubble tea endorsement event.
