Lingyang Focuses on Automotive Chips

Reported about 1 year ago

During Lingyang's shareholder meeting on June 12, 2024, in addition to approving financial statements and conducting board elections with Chairman Huang Zhoujie staying on, the management highlighted challenges in the market due to last year's disruptions, investing in advanced technologies like the AI-enabled computing chip Plus1 using a 12nm process to facilitate edge computing research and focusing on automotive chips development. Despite market challenges, Lingyang's May revenue reached NT$595 million, a 21.47% YoY increase, hinting at a potential recovery in demand, especially with the upcoming traditional peak season in the third quarter. Lingyang's main revenue comes from automotive products like IVI systems, with new integrated products enhancing automotive functions and values. The company anticipates growth opportunities in the automotive semiconductor sector, particularly in the North American aftermarket and with AI-driven products like Plus1.
