Linus Lundqvist secured his first IndyCar pole position at Road America after a treacherous qualifying session that saw Josef Newgarden involved in a significant crash but thankfully walking away unharmed, while giving a thumbs up to safety workers. Lundqvist narrowly beat Colton Herta for the top spot, marking an impressive turnaround for the Swede who had struggled in previous races. The XPEL Road America Grand Prix starting lineup is set with Lundqvist and Herta leading the grid.
