According to Liberty Times, a journalist from China's state media, Xinhua News Agency, was revealed to be involved in the production of a political talk show in Taiwan. Not only did they control the production process, but they also monitored the set directly. In response, Key Moment host Liu Baojie expressed dissatisfaction and self-slapped on the show; author Kuli questioned why Liu Baojie was so angry, suspecting a major purpose behind his dramatic actions. Liu Baojie angrily responded on the show, stating that Taiwan as a free democratic country would not tolerate this behavior and vowed not to allow Chinese journalists to monitor his program. TV host Xu Junxiang later pointed out that the reported show was wrongly identified, leading to a misunderstanding. Kuli further questioned Liu Baojie's emotional outburst, suggesting it was only for the sake of ratings.
