Liu Baojie Strongly Reacts to CCP Surveillance on TV Program Production

Reported 9 months ago

Recently, media reported that the CCP is monitoring the production process of political commentary programs in Taiwan, with a Xinhua News Agency reporter suspected of shadowing at a Taiwanese TV station, even overseeing content scripts and guest speeches in the studio. Senior media figure Liu Baojie vehemently emphasized on his show 'Critical Moment' that if he allowed such things, 'you'd take me away, I wouldn't even utter a word!' Due to democratic differences, only one TV station agreed to cooperate, trying to influence the direction of the program by criticizing the DPP government. Liu criticized on his show that Taiwan is a democratic country, and the enemy of an open society is the Communist Party, declaring his strong stance against interference in the TV program by a Chinese person.
