A development project in Nanzih District, Kaohsiung, claimed on social media that it was a "3-minute walk to the MRT Purple Line P9 Station" even though the station location had not been finalized. This resulted in a fine by the Fair Trade Commission for violating the Fair Trade Act. The companies involved were fined NT$1.5 million and NT$750,000. The Commission emphasized the importance of verifying and accurately presenting information in advertisements, especially concerning transportation convenience, as it influences consumers' housing purchase decisions.
