A woman surnamed Wen, working in long-term care, asked a friend surnamed Zhuo, who worked as an assistant at the Labor Insurance Bureau, to help her check the previous salary of a job applicant during the hiring process. This action was later reported to the Anti-Corruption Agency, resulting in a search conducted by Taipei prosecutors. The case is being investigated for possible violations of criminal law and personal data protection laws. Zhuo used her business authority to access personal information inappropriately, leading to the investigation after a complaint was filed.
