The Ministry of Health and Welfare will open applications for the 'Residential Service Institution User Subsidy Program' in July, providing subsidies ranging from 6,000 to 12,000 per person annually to ease the financial burden of families with severely disabled individuals using institutional services. The application process begins on July 1, with a one-month processing time resulting in a lump sum payment of 12,000. Eligible residents with a long-term care level of 4 or above or with moderate disabilities who have stayed 180 days in the institution in a year will receive the annual subsidy. Applications for the 2024 'Residential Service Institution Subsidy' will be accepted from July 1 to December 31, 2024. The process involves submitting necessary documents to the local government. Funds will be disbursed within one month after application approval.
