A group of 7 hikers, suspected to have organized online, climbed the west peak of Hehuan Mountain in Nantou. A 32-year-old hiker named Lai got lost in the afternoon and separated from the group. After requesting help, she was found on the west peak trail by rescue teams. The team guided her down the mountain safely, focusing on her physical condition and the challenging terrain. Lai had been stranded for 3-4 hours before rescuers located her, offering water and food before successfully reuniting her with her teammates at a convenience store in Lishan. The rescue mission was completed after a difficult nighttime descent.
