Due to the low hotel booking rate during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday in Hualien, various hotels are offering discounts to stimulate visitor stays. The Hualien County government announced the upcoming Hualien Summer Love Carnival concert and a series of events in July to revive tourism after recent earthquakes. Initiatives such as the Hualien National Travel Subsidy are in place, but the booking rate remains low, prompting well-known hotels to offer additional discounts and perks to attract guests, aiming to increase tourism in the area.
