Luxurious Ladoum Sheep Valued at 2.6 Million NT, Pampered with Massage and Supplements

Reported about 1 year ago

In Senegal, during the Islamic festival of Eid al-Adha, where it is customary to slaughter livestock, the Ladoum sheep are exempt due to their high value of 70,000 to 80,000 USD (approximately 2.26 to 2.59 million NT). Referred to as the 'Rolex of the sheep world,' these sheep are well cared for at the breeding farm in clean facilities, receiving massages, grooming, and vitamin supplements daily. Owning a Ladoum sheep has become a status symbol in Senegal, with beauty contests televised and judged based on various criteria such as body shape, horn symmetry, and even the symmetry of testicles for rams.
