Lyft Inc. is encouraging its Chicago customers to urge city officials to reject a proposed rideshare tax aimed at generating additional revenue during weekends. The tax, introduced by Alderman Daniel La Spata, could add up to $15 million annually to the city's budget amid efforts to address a significant deficit.
