Mahindra & Mahindra, India's second-largest SUV manufacturer, has unveiled two new electric SUVs, the BE 6e and XEV 9e, as it aims to capture market share in the competitive automotive landscape dominated by Hyundai and Toyota. With impressive driving ranges exceeding 500 km and starting prices around $22,500 and $26,000, respectively, Mahindra targets the growing compact SUV segment. The company plans to produce 90,000 units annually, increase it to 200,000 by 2026, and aims for electric vehicles to comprise 20% of its SUV sales by 2027.
