On June 29, 2024, at 9:26 am, in Miaoli, Zhunan, a homeowner posted surveillance footage showing a mail carrier throwing mail on the ground, with company mail being blown away by the wind. The footage revealed four days' worth of mail discarded on the ground. After an investigation, the post office found that the mail carrier, who was newly appointed, had neglected to check the mailbox and accidentally discarded the mail on the ground.
