A gas explosion occurred at the traditional market on Minsheng Road in Daxi District, Taoyuan City, at around 9 a.m. on June 22, resulting in a 63-year-old father and his 30-year-old son with the surname Jian from a pork stall sustaining burns. The explosion was suspected to have been caused by hooking the gas line while moving a motorbike. The victims were rushed to Taoyuan Armed Forces General Hospital for treatment, and the investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the explosion.
