On June 29, 2024, at 4:37 am, a tour bus accident occurred at Genting Highlands, a popular tourist destination in Bentong, Pahang, northeast of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The accident, involving a bus carrying 21 people, resulted in 2 Chinese tourists suffering fatal head injuries, while 19 others were injured and taken to nearby hospitals. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.
