A man was spotted bringing his own sofa chair and sitting on it inside the MRT train and even on the platform while waiting, looking very relaxed. Witnesses mentioned it was during off-peak hours, and no one was disturbed. However, MRT has restrictions on luggage size, with the longest side not exceeding 165cm and total dimensions not exceeding 220cm. Chairs can only be carried, not directly sat on. Passengers are reminded to properly secure any large luggage to avoid inconveniencing others.
