A man surnamed Lin in Nantou City stole valuable anime dolls from 7 toy crane shops, totaling over 120,000 Taiwan Dollars due to financial difficulties. He was sentenced to 10 months in prison for multiple theft charges. Lin had previous criminal records and worked with a friend in some thefts, stealing and reselling dolls, before committing more thefts alone. Police urge shops with valuable items, especially toy crane shops, to enhance security measures to prevent similar incidents and ensure public safety.
