A 36-year-old man surnamed Su from Xizhi District, New Taipei City, was caught by police while riding a motorcycle to take a friend to a night market, where he threw methamphetamine down a drain. Su claimed they had just left a court in Keelung and couldn't have any illicit items on him, but police found suspicious items on him. He panicked and tried to get rid of the evidence by throwing it into a drain. However, the police retrieved the package and found methamphetamine inside, leading to Su's arrest for drug offenses.
