A viral video showing water in cups at a popular conveyor belt sushi chain with visible oil residue has sparked concerns among customers about cleanliness. The chain responded that the dishes are usually machine-washed, leading to doubts about their cleaning process. A former part-time worker revealed that the restaurant does not separate plates and cups during washing, contrary to the standard procedure in other sushi establishments where dishes are manually cleaned before put into the dishwasher.
