A 50-year-old man in New Taipei City, Taiwan, claimed online to have breast enlargement pills worth over ten thousand Taiwan dollars, deceiving a junior high school girl into engaging in sexual acts with him. The man, surnamed Chen, was found guilty of violating laws against child sexual exploitation, receiving an 8-year prison sentence in the first trial. Although the original judgment was overturned in the appeal, the High Court still sentenced Chen to 8 years in prison. The case can still be appealed. Chen had used deceitful means to manipulate the minors, filming the sexual acts without their consent and coaxing another girl online to record intimate videos for him to watch. Chen denied the charges in the second trial, claiming it was merely consensual sex work and the filming victim was not a junior high school girl, but the judge found him guilty based on clear evidence and sentenced him to 8 years in prison.
