A 61-year-old man in Changhua County, Taiwan, with a history of inhaling glue and committing theft, assault, and harassment, was caught attempting to purchase gasoline to set his neighbor's house on fire. When confronted by police, he praised the gasoline as tasty and drank it, causing the neighbor to flee in fear. The man has a record of violent behavior, including attacking people with a knife and trying to set fires, but has received minimal sentences, leaving the community in perpetual unease.
