A man surnamed Du, aged 47, drove a white Mercedes-Benz with slogans painted on it to the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) for a protest in the afternoon, but was advised to leave by police. Later in the day, he drove to the Presidential Office building, accelerating to crash into a flower bed in front of it. He was promptly arrested by Taipei City police. Du had written phrases like 'National Cognitive Operations', 'Cybersecurity SOS Invasion', 'AI Transformation', 'Consensus', and 'Significant National' on his car. No major conflicts were reported during the incidents.
