In New Taipei City's Banqiao District, a man driving an iRent rental vehicle late at night on June 7 inexplicably rear-ended a large motorcycle rider on Huanhe West Road Section 5, causing the entire bumper to 'stick' onto the motorcycle before fleeing the scene. The police swiftly apprehended the suspect within an hour and have sent the case for prosecution for hit-and-run. The accident left the motorcycle rider surnamed Huang with multiple abrasions and fractures in the hand, requiring medical attention.
