This morning in Puzi City, Chiayi County, a robbery occurred at a convenience store where a junior high school student from Dongshi Junior High School was threatened by a man in his 50s. The man demanded money, saying 'Give me money or I'll shoot you,' causing the student to hand over 700 NT dollars before the man fled on a motorcycle. The police arrested the man 3km away from the scene and will prosecute him for robbery. The student was unable to seek help as he was inside the store and too scared to call out for assistance.
