In Taichung, a man lost control of his emotions and swung a knife around in a community, causing neighbors to be frightened and report to the police. Despite police intervention, the man refused to cooperate and instead shouted loudly, prompting the officers to draw their guns and use pepper spray to subdue him. The man was eventually forcibly taken to the hospital. The incident stemmed from a conflict between the man and a neighbor, leading to the man wielding the knife in a public area but fortunately, no one was harmed as others had managed to avoid him. Due to his unstable emotions, the man was immediately taken for medical treatment.
