The police were dispatched to the scene after the bank reported the suspicious transaction. The man gave inconsistent explanations about the large withdrawal, claiming it was for a used car purchase, but could not provide details when questioned by the police. Eventually, he abandoned the withdrawal plan and thanked the bank staff and police for their assistance. The police reminded the public to be cautious of online scams and verify information before making financial transactions to avoid falling victim to fraud.
