Man Lost for 10 Days While Hiking for 3 Hours Miraculously Survives by Catching Water in His Boot

Reported 9 months ago

An American hiker in California, Lukas McClish, went missing for 10 days in the Santa Cruz mountains after a planned 3-hour hike went awry due to destroyed trail markers. He managed to survive by catching waterfall water in his boot and drinking a gallon (around 3.8 liters) a day, sustaining himself with wild berries until he was rescued. McClish was found shirtless on June 20th after his family reported him missing, and despite feeling weak, expressed gratitude towards rescuers.
