Man Protests Ho You-yi's Summon by Tossing Eggs at Control Yuan; Fined 2,000 for Public Order Offense

New Taipei City Mayor Ho You-yi was summoned by Control Yuan members for investigation related to an incident in 1989 concerning the expulsion of Loh I-Shih. Dissatisfied protester, Tian Shan-Shengguo, threw six eggs at the Control Yuan building in response. He was found in violation of social order maintenance law, fined 2,000 yuan by Taipei District Court, and can appeal the decision. Control Yuan had requested Ho's clarification on the 1989 case, leading to the egg-throwing incident. Police intervened to address the situation.
