In Taipei, a man visited a communication store claiming his wife was waiting in the car and wanted to bring the purchased phones for her to choose, prompting the owner to allow him to leave. Later, he called saying he met police and needed to pay via bank transfer, then returned the next day to buy another phone, repeating the same story. However, the store never received the payment and couldn't contact the man, realizing they were scammed. Police are investigating the case as fraud and embezzlement.
