On July 2, 2024, Taipei Datong Police officers Lin Jiaxuan and Lan Yuxiang assisted a man named Cai who was feeling unwell and could not find his motorbike on the streets. Concerned for his safety, Lin and Lan provided care, including a chair to sit on, candies for possible low blood sugar, and contacting his family and an ambulance for medical assistance. The man, who had a history of stroke and diabetes, was eventually taken to the hospital. His mother expressed gratitude for the police's compassionate assistance during her son's unclear state of mind, highlighting the importance of seeking help in emergencies or when feeling unwell.
