A 29-year-old man was slashed on the escalators at a Brooklyn subway station in NYC. The incident occurred at the Smith Street and 9th Street subway station in Carroll Gardens. The victim was attacked by a man with an unknown sharp object on the torso and was taken to the hospital in stable condition. The suspect fled the scene, and the NYPD is asking for information. In a separate incident, a 57-year-old man was punched and robbed on a Bronx subway train earlier in the week.
