Man Steals $35,000 Worth of Electrical Wire from Construction Site in Neihu, Sells for a Few Hundred Dollars and Spends it All

In Neihu District of Taipei, a newly built building construction site discovered theft of electrical wire stored in a warehouse. After reviewing surveillance footage, the police identified a 45-year-old man surnamed Wei as the suspect. Upon searching his residence, they found stolen tools, drugs, and discovered that the stolen electrical wire worth $35,000 had been sold by him for just a few hundred dollars which he had already spent. Wei, with a history of multiple theft offenses, is now facing charges of theft.
