In Taichung, Taiwan, a man in his 60s was found trapped under a storm drain for 5 days after neighbors heard his cries for help. Emergency responders used drilling equipment to rescue the weakened man, who had been missing since last Thursday. Despite the narrow space in the drain, he was successfully rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment. The circumstances of how he ended up in the drain remain unclear and are under investigation.
