Man Vandalizes Claw Machine Shop After Failing to Use Water Gun Prize

Reported 12 months ago

In New Taipei City, a man vandalized a claw machine shop by spraying a fire extinguisher, causing damage to machines, products, and parked motorcycles with white powder. The perpetrator claimed he was seeking revenge after spending 200 NT dollars to win a water gun but found it unusable and received no response from the shop owner. The shop owner refuted this, stating the items were severely rusted and damaged upon return. The 37-year-old perpetrator, named Zhou, had tried to communicate via messaging apps but eventually resorted to theft and vandalism, impacting neighboring properties and potentially facing legal consequences.
