A 49-year-old man named Du drove a white Mercedes Benz with phrases like 'National Cognitive Warfare,' 'Cyber Security SOS Invasion,' 'AI Transformation,' and 'Consensus' painted on it. He first honked outside the American Institute in Taiwan in Neihu, then collided with the flower bed in front of the Presidential Office. Security officers stopped him, and after questioning, he was referred to the Taipei District Prosecutors Office for offenses like public endangerment and destruction. Prosecutors may request Du to post bail. The incident unfolded on July 1, with Du driving around the Presidential Office area before the collision, despite being warned earlier by security officers at the AIT.
