On June 15, 2024, at 11:20 AM, a male body with tattoos on both hands was discovered by New Taipei citizens beneath the Xinhai Bridge. The discovery led to a shocking incident in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City, where passersby noticed the body floating in the water. Authorities were alerted, and upon arrival, they found a severely swollen male body, approximately 40 years old, unable to be identified due to facial swelling. The body, clothed in a short-sleeved shirt and dark green shorts, with tattoos on both hands, was taken to the mortuary for further investigation to determine the deceased's identity. The body has been temporarily stored in the New Taipei City Funeral Parlor. Further details on this incident are awaited.
