In New Taipei City's Xindian District, a man surnamed Gao, aged 26, brazenly fired over 10 shots towards a guesthouse on Zhongxing Road on the morning of 26th. The skilled gunman confidently opened fire, which was captured on video by onlookers. After the incident, Gao voluntarily surrendered to the police station, where authorities found 17 bullet casings at the scene. The exact motive behind the shooting is still under investigation.
