Despite efforts to promote climate-friendly cars, a recent survey shows that many Americans remain skeptical about switching to electric vehicles, with 46% unlikely to purchase one due to reasons like high costs. The survey also revealed a preference for American electric vehicles over Chinese ones, even when priced higher. However, about 42% of respondents expressed some likelihood of buying an electric vehicle, mainly driven by potential savings on gas and maintenance. President Biden's administration aims for a significant shift towards electric vehicles by 2032.
