In Hualien, Taiwan, two former colleagues from a funeral service company who had a physical altercation and fired gunshots in March at a funeral parlor, met for negotiations again on June 18. During the meeting, one of them used a baseball bat to damage the other's car, leading to a car chase and a subsequent shooting incident. The shooter fled the scene but later turned himself in to the police. As a result, he has been detained on charges of attempted murder and is currently prohibited from visitors. This escalated conflict resulted in injuries to a father and son nearby, and the incident is under police investigation and legal proceedings.
